We thought we had to support local gastronomy during the lockdown period. What can I say we weren't disappointed. We had Münchner Schnitzel with chips and salad The carton-like packaging keeps you warm without making the whole fry the fries were crispy. Tip top. Some people say that it would be expensive here, but I don't see it that way because the quality is right. Keep it up, we'll be back.

Now to the food: French fries were a bit weak (but that's in the eye of the beholder) The wine sauerkraut was definitely too salty for that and 3 people felt that way. The Münchner Schnitzel, however, had a great horseradish taste because it was still a bit dry - I think a sauce would have done the whole thing good. I was looking forward to the boletus bratwurst, but when I tried it I was a bit irritated, I didn't taste anything in the taste or in the sausage itself, or could see anything reminiscent of boletus, even here: nothing Sauce?? Salads were great - fresh, but why do you put the dressing under the salad? Probably because he stands longer and otherwise becomes limp ... All in all, I paid around 40 euros for a mediocre meal. I had hoped for more, because actually. Does this restaurant have a good reputation, It's a shame.

We were with a small group in Würzburg and in Rechenberg. We particularly liked the "Zum Brunnenbäck" inn. The small menu already indicated that the dishes were freshly prepared and that convenience products were not being used. The dishes were well prepared, tasty and well presented. The service was good, the wine and dessert recommendations were reasonable. Unfortunately, we only got to know the restaurant at the end of our trip, so we could only visit it twice. We are happy to recommend the restaurant.

There were four of us and we were very surprised at the high quality of the food. We wouldn't have expected that in such a small place. The food is very good. Appealingly presented, the service is attentive, polite and friendly.

The service didn't have a good day today, even if the service was hard-working and friendly. After we sat down, we were told that we can only order drinks for the time being, but the food will take some time, as catering has yet to come out. We wondered about that because we had reserved at 7:00 p.m. At this time, a restaurant should already be able to provide a la carte guests with meals. Well, there weren't enough menus available at the time anyway, so we couldn't even choose a meal. OK, then ordered food later, which was OK, but in my opinion the price-performance ratio wasn't right. The salad bowls were very sparsely filled, although the dressing tasted very good. The schnitzel was beaten so thin that the breading to meat ratio was mostly 2: 1. In terms of taste, even if a bit dry, there was nothing wrong with it. The later drinks - reordering turned out to be difficult because we were sitting in an adjoining room. Out of sight, out of mind At some point after the meal a young man came along (had not previously been noticed as a waitress) and cleaned up. There weren't many guests left at the time, but the service still seemed helpless to be overwhelmed. We then placed our order with the young man, who then passed it on to the service staff. We asked for the invoice at the same time as our order. The drinks came, but without a bill. This was then handed in later, whereupon 1 drink too much was charged. The excuse then was that the cash register would do that before. What should I think of that? In terms of cleanliness, you could also get better, for example by removing the old cobwebs on the walls or seeing why so many flies are coming out of the flower boxes. We stopped there because of the good reviews. Maybe we just had a bad day. Since we're just passing through, we don't need to worry about visiting the restaurant a second time. We leave that to others.

Very tasty high-quality food at slightly higher prices. We had the chanterelle pan, the world's best tomato salad (the name says it all) and fillet strips from the country pork. Everything is delicious and the tomato salad lives up to its name. Service and staff are great, so all in all a completely satisfied package that we gladly recommend. The annual summer BBQ will be tested next week ?. We'll probably stop by more often now and I'll be happy to report again.

Very good taste, price-performance ratio is not right. Schnitzel and cordon bleu very, very thin, order from french fries to spaetzle and mushroom sauce 5 € ??

Staff very helpful and they went the extra mile to accommodate our family with small children and translate everything in English for us. Food was fine, family ran, popular with locals.
